Poor Michael Moore really is just that stupid
I often wonder if American leftists are stupid enough to believe their own B.S. or if they’re just lying in order to change America. In the case of Michael Moore, however, there can be no doubt; he really is just that stupid.
According to Michael Moore, guns today are not what our Founders meant when they wrote “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” They simply could not have envisioned AK-47′s and Gloch semiautomatic pistols.
Here is the story from the Blaze.com and then I’ll get into some commentary:
… when [the Founding Fathers] said, the right to bear arms…you know, the “arm” back then was you could — you could only fire one shot at a time. You had a little — a little ball bearing-like bullet. You had to stuff it in the thing and then you had to do this, and the gun powder, and, you know, took 15 minutes before you could fire one shot.
Now, if the Founding Fathers could have looked into a crystal ball and seen AK-47s and Glock semiautomatic pistols, I got a feeling they wouldn’t — I think they’d want to leave a little note behind and probably tell us, you know, that’s not really what we mean when we say “bear arms.”
…I wish we would just live in this century. I think they’d want us to do that. [Emphasis added]
Okay, first things first. Our Constitution has an amendment process and if someone like Michael Moore believes the 2nd Amendment is outdated then they need to propose and support an amendment to vacate it – just write an amendment to do away with the 2nd Amendment and it will be ratified by the States if the people agree and we wouldn’t have to piss around with 30,000 gun laws and recurring court cases.
I would fight against the amendment, but that’s the correct way for leftists in America to legally disarm Americans.
There is also more than enough information in the public record to understand that our right to keep and bear arms did not have anything to do with hunting, sport shooting or even self defense against criminals. Our Founders gave us the 2nd Amendment to protect our liberty from tyrannical government, so I would presume they intended us to have the modern weapons of the day for that purpose.
As Thomas Jefferson Said:
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
Next, many of our Founding Fathers were scientists and inventors themselves, like Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, and knew there would be dramatic changes to everything, including “arms” over the coming centuries and were no doubt aware of the changes that had already been made to guns since they were first invented.
To say they could not forsee the AK-47 specifically may be technically true but to imply they could not forsee even radical changes to the muskets of their day is farcical.
Just a little simple research that even someone as stupid as Michael Moore could do revealed 18th Century changes in the gun, such as the “Puckle Gun.”
Puckle Gun – 1718
In 1718, James Puckle of London, England, demonstrated his new invention, the “Puckle Gun,” a tripod-mounted, single-barreled flintlock gun fitted with a multishot revolving cylinder. This weapon fired nine shots per minute at a time when the standard soldier’s musket could be loaded and fired but three times per minute.
Michael Moore, like all American leftists, is dangerous to our Liberty and our posterity and should be challenged every time he opens his mouth.

Steve, I know some young people whom I’ve never considered “stupid” but who support Obama. All the time I knew them they were intelligent, high achieving, church going good kids. I’m appalled. The one common denominator they have is that they are all attorneys. The others I know who support Obama and who open their mouths like Michael Moron and a turd pops out, are genuinely stupid.

Yep, I think there are some who realize that what they are saying is just for political purposes but then there are the ones like Michael Moore who actually believe their own crap.
