Truth is no defense for Conservatives and no obstacle for Progressives

By Steve Bussey

Progressives, such as MSNBC host Chris Matthews, are such blatant liars but what may be even worse is that Republicans are so inept at defending themselves against the lies, as I have written so many times before.

Republicans lament that they cannot get their message out through the so-called mainstream media but then they themselves don’t take advantage of opportunities presented when appearing in the mainstream media.

A perfect example of both was last Tuesday when Chris Matthews used the term “grand wizards,” an obvious KKK reference, when speaking to former RNC chairman Michael Steele, a black Republican.

I will not comply with this law – ever

By Steve Bussey

I don’t know about you, but I will never comply with the order in the story beliow. I do not care the reason for the order. I do not care about the so-called “safeguards.” I don’t care what reason anyone gives.

If this is true, I will never comply with this and I will ask my children, who will all out live me – God willing – to never comply.

Mandatory ‘Big Brother’ Black Boxes In All New Cars From 2015

A bill already passed by the Senate and set to be rubber stamped by the House would make it mandatory for all new cars in the United States to be fitted with black box data recorders from 2015 onwards.

Section 31406 of Senate Bill 1813 (known as MAP-21), calls for “Mandatory Event Data Recorders” to be installed in all new automobiles and legislates for civil penalties to be imposed against individuals for failing to do so.

“Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall revise part 563 of title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, to require, beginning with model year 2015, that new passenger motor vehicles sold in the United States be equipped with an event data recorder that meets the requirements under that part,” states the bill.

Although the text of legislation states that such data would remain the property of the owner of the vehicle, the government would have the power to access it in a number of circumstances, including by court order, if the owner consents to make it available, and pursuant to an investigation or inspection conducted by the Secretary of Transportation.

Democrat Reagan mythology – Twisting the facts again

By Steve Bussey

Context is everything.

I have always said there is a point at which “political spin” becomes an outright lie and Democrats have once again passed that tipping point with respect to Ronald Reagan.

The new mantra from the political left is that Ronald Reagan could not win the GOP presidential nomination today because he raised taxes 11 times during his eight years in office. The GOP, so the mantra goes, has been taken over by radical, right-wing, anti-government extremists. They are, of course, woefully wrong and actually lying.

Let us briefly remind ourselves of whom the liberals are talking: President Reagan said, and had a long and consistent history of believing, “Government is not a solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

President Reagan is the man who warned against nationalized healthcare during the Medicare and Medicaid debate in the 1960’s. He is the man who vociferously campaigned for Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) for president in 1964. He is also the man who fought communism in Hollywood in the 1940’s and 50’s. President Reagan was nothing if not consistent in his beliefs.

Hillary Rosen’s comment was a window into the Progressive War on Civilization

By Steve Bussey

Last week Democrat strategist and advisor Hillary Rosen ignited a firestorm when she stated that Ann Romney has “never worked a day in her life.” She has apologized, sort of, and Democrats have tried to walk her comment back and even disavow her. However, her comment opened a window into the heart and soul of the progressive movement and radical feminism.

I put together a little montage of audio and video clips that we used on the Steve Bussey Radio Experience yesterday to explain the radical progressive feminist war on America and civilization and posted it just below here, but I want to say a few things before you watch it.

Hillary Rosen’s remark about Ann Romney was not an isolated or accidental event. It is what the radical feminists and progressives in America believe.

My wife had to put up with that kind of crap as a stay-at-home mom from the late 1970’s through the late 1990’s. Some woman would ask my wife what she did for a living and, of course, my wife would say she was a stay at home mom. The other woman’s comment was usually something like, “oh, I’m sorry.”

It has long been my opinion that radical feminists tried to bully moms into leaving the home and entering the workforce because they felt that stay at home moms made the working moms look bad. They have traditionally used many tactics such as shame, belittling and even out right insults.

My own mother was chastised by working moms in the late 1960’s because mom was apparently depriving her kids of a color television and better car – material things – stuff.

Hillary Rosen’s comment taken as a singular incident means nothing. But her attitude as expressed by her unguarded moment on CNN last week is emblematic of what stay at home moms have put up with for several decades across the nation.

It is so prevalent that there is even a name for it – The Mommy Wars. Here’s the video:

Democrats are right about your choices in November

By Steve Bussey

I say that the Democrats are right because on the Greta VanSusteren show the other night DNC Chair Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) said that each political party’s budget is a reflection of their values and she is 100% right. The only is question is what those values are.

Your choices are tyranny and oppression or freedom. Your choices are possibly one last chance to reclaim some final threads of what America once was or a continuing demise into the mediocrity from which most other nations of the world are afflicted or worse.

Democrats want the November presidential election to be about the so-called Republican War on Women. Well, how about we talk about the decades-old Democrat war on America, the American family and traditional American values? How about the Democrat war on our Constitution – freedom – liberty – the Founding Fathers and everything that made us the greatest nation in the history of the world in the shortest time in history?
